Club news

Club Website

With many thanks to Stuart and Kelly (Stuart? hmmmmm!) the club website is now up and running. The address is www.homecountieshawkingclub.co.uk.

The site is still evolving as we discover what works for the club and what doesn’t. Feed back to either Stuart or Kelly or any of the committee would be really helpful.

What is happening with the birds?

Apart from the display birds most members bird is now well in to the moult.

Steve Forrest’s American Kestrels are sitting on eggs.

For myself after being given an eight year old male Harris about seven weeks ago my four year old female is now sitting on eggs for the first time. Whether or not she will be successful this first time we will have to wait and see.

Alan and Paul have been getting display birds ready for the first shows of the season. If any one else is breeding please let me know.
